Sunshine
Being outside in the sunshine is incredible for your immune system. It boosts your vitamin D levels naturally leading to better health and mood. If it’s not sunny where you live, try vitamin D drops!
Green Tea
Drinking green tea has many health benefits because it is rich in antioxidant-containing micronutrients called Polyphenols. Polyphenols help the body fight infections. They can also protect the body against potential viruses, infections, and sickness.
Hand Sanitizer
One of the top coronavirus tips is to wash your hands or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. Hand sanitizers are selling out but you can still find them here or you can even make your own DIY hand sanitizer!
Bone Broth
Bone broth has many immune benefits such as providing extra nutrients, alkalinize your system, and making it easier to detoxify your body.
You can make it easily by boiling a whole chicken in water. Take out the chicken to use for meals and then strain the broth to drink from a mug or use for soups.
Probiotics
Probiotics can help boost your immune system by building up the good bacteria in your digestive system leading to overall better health.
Drink Water
We’ve all heard it a million times but drinking water is so important! I notice a huge boost in my energy level when I remember to drink 8-10 glasses a day. I drink my daily water out of a stainless steel tumbler.
Elderberry
Elderberry is a super-immune fruit that provides antioxidant and immune support. Elderberry gummies are convenient and also contain immune-supportive nutrients Zinc and Vitamin C.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is great for boosting your immune system and you can find it many fruits and vegetables as well as in capsule form.
Avoid Sugar and Grains
Avoiding refined sugar and grains can help boost your immune system because studies have shown that refined sugar or grains that turn to sugar can suppress our immune system just hours after you ingest them!
Sleep
Sleep is essential to a healthy immune system. Be sure to get a full 8 hours a night even if that means skipping your Netflix binge! 😉
Exercise
Exercising can help boost your immune system and detoxify your body. Sweating naturally detoxes the body and flushes out yucky toxins!
