If you’ve always wanted to learn a second, third, or fourth language now is a perfect time. With free apps like Duolingo, it’s super easy to learn a new language in only a few minutes per day!
2. Take up Photography
Even if you don’t have a professional camera, now is the perfect time to take up photography. You can just use your smartphone! While you’re at it you can even learn to edit your photos like a pro!
3. Work Out Online
If you can’t get to the gym because it’s closed, you can work out online! Many of my favorite fitness Instagrammers are hosting free live workouts during quarantine to keep us all feeling fit and healthy!
4. Learn to Crochet
Crocheting is a super relaxing hobby that’s also very rewarding because you end up with a new pair of socks or a beanie when you’re finished! All you need is some yarn and a crochet needle to get started!
5. Start a Nature Journal
Now is a great time to get outside and enjoy nature. Start a nature journal by going into your backyard and looking and listening to your surroundings. Write down the date, temperature, and weather conditions, and draw something you saw or heard. It’s so relaxing!
6. Make Your Own Health & Beauty Products
At this point, you may be running low on some of your health and beauty products. So, why not try making your own? You can get kits online with all the necessary ingredients or even make your own hand sanitizer with this recipe!
7. Learn to Hand Letter
Hand lettering is a wonderful skill to have and a great option for hobbies you can learn at home. Do a quick Pinterest search and you’ll find a ton of easy tutorials. Then once you’ve practiced, you can use your new skill to send beautiful letters to your friends and family!
8. Give Yourself a Home Manicure
